I've called Niseko home for twenty years now, and the changing seasons and the weather still bring me something new to find. Every summer, without fail, I climb Mt. Yotei three times. In winter I'm on these same mountains on skis.
I love being active, being outdoors, and most of all sharing that with people. For me, guiding isn't only about where we go — it's about who I'm with, and the kind of day we make together.
So I read the weather and the conditions, but I'm also reading you: what you've done before, how you're moving on the day, and what you came here hoping for. I want you to see Niseko in the way that suits you.
You've come a long way to get here. I want you to laugh, to enjoy it, and to finish the day thinking, "That was a really good day." That's the part of guiding I love most.
