プライバシーポリシー（個人情報の取り扱いについて）

Far East Company LLC ("OUTSCAPE by Far East", "we", "us") respects your privacy and handles your personal information in accordance with Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI). This policy explains what we collect when you book or take part in our tours, why, and the choices you have.

Far East Company LLC（「OUTSCAPE by Far East」「当社」）は、お客様のプライバシーを尊重し、日本の個人情報保護法（APPI）に従って個人情報を取り扱います。本ポリシーは、ツアーのご予約・ご参加にあたり当社が取得する情報、その目的、お客様の選択について定めるものです。

2. Information We Collect

  • Booking details: lead guest name, phone (WhatsApp / LINE), email, accommodation name & room number, pickup needs, preferred start time, total number of participants and the age of each.
  • To plan your tour safely: fitness & hiking experience, preferred course or route, preferred language, dietary requirements, and any special requests or interests.
  • Health information (special care-required): health conditions (chronic illness, injury, pregnancy) and allergies (food, bees, plants, etc.).
  • Emergency contact: the name and number of someone not joining the tour.
  • Payment information: processed through our booking provider; we do not store full card numbers ourselves.
  • Photos & video: images taken during the tour, and how you heard about us.
  • 予約情報: 代表者氏名、電話番号（WhatsApp・LINE）、メールアドレス、宿泊先名・部屋番号、送迎の要否、希望開始時間、参加合計人数および参加者全員の年齢。
  • 安全なツアー設計のため: 体力・ハイキング経験、希望コース・ルート、希望言語、食事制限、特別なリクエスト・興味。
  • 健康に関する情報（要配慮個人情報）: 健康状態（持病・けが・妊娠の有無）、アレルギー（食物・蜂・植物等）。
  • 緊急連絡先: ツアーに同行されない方の氏名・連絡先。
  • 決済情報: 予約システム提供事業者を通じて処理され、カード番号全体を当社が保持することはありません。
  • 写真・動画: ツアー中に撮影した画像、および当社を知ったきっかけ。

3. Purpose of Use

  • To operate and manage your tour booking, including pickup, scheduling, and on-day communication.
  • To assess suitability and ensure safety on the route, and to respond appropriately in an emergency.
  • To process payment and refunds, and to answer your enquiries.
  • With your consent, for marketing — newsletters, and use of tour photos in our promotion. You may opt out at any time.
  • 送迎・日程調整・当日連絡を含む、ツアー予約の運営・管理のため。
  • ご参加の可否判断とルート上の安全確保、および緊急時の適切な対応のため。
  • 決済・返金処理、およびお問い合わせ対応のため。
  • ご同意いただいた場合、マーケティング（ニュースレター配信、ツアー写真の広報利用）のため。いつでもオプトアウトいただけます。

4. Health Information

  • Health conditions and allergies are "special care-required personal information" under the APPI. We collect them only with your consent, given when you provide them during booking.
  • We use this information solely to keep you safe — to plan a suitable route, prepare for allergies, and respond in an emergency. We do not use it for any other purpose.
  • 健康状態・アレルギーは、個人情報保護法上の「要配慮個人情報」に該当します。当社は、ご予約時にお客様がこれらをご提供いただくことによるご同意に基づいてのみ取得します。
  • これらの情報は、適切なルート設計・アレルギー対応・緊急時対応というお客様の安全確保のためにのみ利用し、それ以外の目的には利用しません。

5. Provision to Third Parties

  • We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only where necessary:
  • With your guide, so they can run your tour safely.
  • With emergency or medical services and insurers, to the extent needed to protect your life or health in an emergency, or where required by law.
  • 当社はお客様の個人情報を販売・貸与しません。提供は必要な範囲に限られます。
  • ツアーを安全に実施するため、担当ガイドに共有します。
  • 緊急時に生命・身体を保護するため必要な範囲で、または法令に基づき、救急・医療機関および保険会社に提供します。

6. Outsourcing

  • We use trusted service providers to operate our business — for example our online booking system, and email and payment processing services. We share only the information they need and supervise them appropriately.
  • 当社は、事業運営のため信頼できる委託先（オンライン予約システム、メール・決済処理事業者等）を利用します。委託先には必要な情報のみを提供し、適切に監督します。

7. Transfer Overseas

  • Some of the services we use (such as booking and email tools) may store data on servers located outside Japan. Where this involves a transfer to a third party in a foreign country, we handle it in accordance with the APPI.
  • 当社が利用するサービス（予約・メールツール等）の一部は、日本国外のサーバーにデータを保管する場合があります。外国にある第三者への提供に該当する場合は、個人情報保護法に従って取り扱います。

8. Children's Information

  • Information about children joining a tour is provided by, and collected through, a parent or guardian. By submitting it, the guardian consents to this policy on the child's behalf.
  • ツアーに参加されるお子様の情報は、保護者の方を通じてご提供・取得されます。ご提供いただくことで、保護者の方がお子様に代わって本ポリシーに同意したものとみなします。

9. Photos & Video

  • We may take photos and video during tours and use them in our promotion (website, social media, brochures). If you prefer not to appear, please tell your guide or email us — we will respect your wish and remove or avoid using your image.
  • 当社はツアー中に写真・動画を撮影し、広報（Webサイト・SNS・パンフレット等）に利用する場合があります。掲載をご希望されない場合は、ガイドにお伝えいただくかメールでご連絡ください。お客様のご意向を尊重し、画像の使用を控える・削除します。

10. Cookies & Analytics

  • This website keeps tracking to a minimum. It loads Google Fonts to display type, and does not use advertising or behavioural tracking cookies. Our booking provider's pages may set their own cookies under their own policy.
  • 当ウェブサイトはトラッキングを最小限に抑えています。書体表示のため Google Fonts を読み込みますが、広告・行動追跡目的の Cookie は使用しません。予約システム提供事業者のページでは、当該事業者のポリシーに基づき独自の Cookie が設定される場合があります。

11. Security Measures

  • We take reasonable organisational and technical measures to protect your personal information against loss, misuse, and unauthorised access, and we limit access to those who need it.
  • 当社は、個人情報の紛失・不正利用・不正アクセスを防ぐため、合理的な組織的・技術的措置を講じ、アクセスできる者を必要な範囲に限定します。

12. Data Retention

  • We keep your information only as long as needed for the purposes above and to meet legal and accounting requirements, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
  • 当社は、上記の目的および法令・会計上の要請に必要な期間に限り情報を保有し、その後は削除または匿名化します。

13. Your Rights

  • You may request disclosure, correction, suspension of use, or deletion of your personal information. Please contact us at the window below; we will respond appropriately after confirming your identity.
  • お客様は、ご自身の個人情報の開示・訂正・利用停止・削除を請求できます。下記窓口までご連絡ください。ご本人確認の上、適切に対応いたします。
