Walking a green forest trail in early summer

Nature Stroll
Half Day

walk gently into the highlands ~
The Idea

Gentle trails, big country.
Four unhurried hours in the heart of Niseko.

Our Nature Stroll – Half Day is the easiest way to step into Hokkaido's highland scenery. Boardwalks across marshland, mirror ponds, and the slow drama of Mt. Yotei on the horizon — with a guide who reads the landscape for you.

No experience needed. We carry the snacks, set the pace, and leave room to simply look. Choose from five short courses — or let your guide pick the one at its best on the day.

Guide's choice on the day

Weather, snow-melt and your group decide. Your guide picks the course that will be at its best.

Where These Courses Sit

gentle → tougher

Every Nature Stroll course is Easy — but some are gentler than others. This shows the range within the tour, placed by overall effort (climb, distance & terrain — not elevation alone).

Easy Moderate Challenging 1 2 3 4 5

Ordered by overall effort (route constant). All sit in the Easy band — the differences are small. Showa-Shinzan is ropeway-assisted (placed by walking effort).

Dress for the valley, pack for the summit. The bars show how daylight shortens toward autumn — your guide sets the best start & finish times around your day.

Light — quick-dry tee + shorts
Layer — add light trousers + a fleece
Warm — long sleeve, trousers + insulated layer

Always pack: a light rain shell & trail shoes — hiking boots for Full-Day hikes (gear & boots at StrideLab).

Approximate monthly averages & sunrise/sunset, JST (目安). Mountain weather changes fast — these are starting points, not rules; your guide reads the day and helps you adjust.
